Please use Microsoft Edge to take eLMS courses (unless specifically instructed otherwise). If you are teleworking, you do not need to virtual private network (VPN) into the FAA intranet to access eLMS. Sometimes the VPN can be unstable causing connection issues while taking a course, even causing people to be locked out of courses. To avoid this, if you can it is best to disconnect from the VPN while taking eLMS online courses.

If you have trouble while using Edge, then this is likely a desktop configuration issue, not an eLMS issue.

First try clearing your cache to see if that helps.

HOW TO CLEAR CACHE From Microsoft Edge:
1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
2. Ensure the time range is ‘All time’
3. Under Clear browsing data, select “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files” check boxes and then select Clear.
4. Restart Edge

* If clearing your cache does not help, please contact the FAA My IT Help Desk for resolution. They will be able to compare your current desktop configuration to what is required to run eLMS properly.
